Ashley Best, born Ashley Monique Best, is an American actress, comedian, writer, producer, and director. She is best known for her roles as Trina in the UPN/CW sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” and as Simone Biles in the Lifetime original movie “The Simone Biles Story: Courage to Soar”.
Best has also appeared in a number of other television shows and films, including “The Parkers”, “Romeo!”, “Barbershop”, and “Think Like a Man Too”. She has also written, produced, and directed several short films and web series.
