Inside Out 2 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated comedy-drama film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is a sequel to the 2015 film Inside Out, and is directed by Pete Docter, produced by Mark Nielsen, and written by Meg LeFauve and Josh Cooley. Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, and John Ratzenberger reprise their roles from the first film, with Will Forte and Joy headband portraying Riley’s teenage emotions.
The film follows Riley Andersen, now a teenager, as she moves to a new city with her parents and struggles to adjust to her new life. Inside Out 2 explores the complex emotions of adolescence and the challenges of growing up. The film is set to be released on June 19, 2024.
